Maxwell Karmazyn is an ASCAP Award winning composer, multi-instrumentalist, and producer. From the Emmy nominated score to Star Wars: Andor and the blockbuster hit Sonic the Hedgehog, to his work on the Grammy nominated Miley Cyrus album Something Beautiful, his original music has been heard in some of entertainment's most widely recognized intellectual properties.
He is currently scoring the upcoming feature film Dead and Breakfast starring Dermot Mulroney and William Moseley. Large scale feature film credits include Terminator: Dark Fate, Alita: Battle Angel, Thanksgiving (Eli Roth), Awkwafina's Quiz Lady, and Mortal Engines. His music can also be found in acclaimed television including Star Wars: Obi-Wan Kenobi, Netflix Cobra Kai, Apple TV+ The Snoopy Show, and Guillermo Del Toro's Trollhunters.
Maxwell recently collaborated on Miley Cyrus' Grammy nominated album Something Beautiful, composing original arrangements, orchestrating, and performing with her on Jimmy Kimmel Live and Spotify's Billions Club in Paris, France. He made his Los Angeles Disney Hall solo violin debut at age 20 and has recorded and shared the stage with John Williams, Hans Zimmer, Stevie Wonder, Andrea Bocelli, Björk, and Olivia Rodrigo. He is a voting member of the Recording Academy for The Grammy Awards.
